Reason #1 Dan Forest is Unfit to Be Gov: Held 65 In-Person Events During the Pandemic
RALEIGH — With just 1 day left until Election Day, Cooper for NC is highlighting the last reason that Dan Forest is unfit to be governor. Reason #1: Forest has held 65 in-person campaign events during the pandemic without masks or social distancing.
Forest has held 65 in-person campaign events, throwing all safety precautions out the window with no masks or social distancing. Many of these events were held indoors with large crowds.
Forest’s in-person campaign events show how little he cares about North Carolinians’ health and safety. He has spread dangerous misinformation about the pandemic and called to lift the mask mandate and for schools to reopen immediately with no masks or social distancing.
