Volunteers and supporters knocked more than 150,000 doors in North Carolina
RALEIGH – With 100 days until Election Day, Roy Cooper spoke today with supporters at a canvass launch in Greensboro. Since launching the campaign nearly one year ago, volunteers and supporters from across North Carolina have knocked on more than 150,000 doors, talking with voters about the stakes of this election and sharing Roy’s plans to make stuff cost less.
“Everyday people in our state are getting left behind as costs skyrocket across the board. I’m running for the U.S. Senate to put working North Carolinians first,” said Roy Cooper. “With 100 days to go, we’re talking with voters across the state about my plans to make stuff cost less for them and their families. While DC Insider and Big Oil and utility company lobbyist Michael Whatley continues to back policies that line his pockets and hurt working people, I will be a strong, independent voice for everyday people in North Carolina.”
