Roy Cooper Continues “Make Stuff Cost Less” Tour in Wadesboro

RALEIGH – Today, Roy Cooper continued his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, holding an event in Wadesboro to discuss how he will continue his work in the U.S. Senate to make life more affordable for North Carolina families.

“Here in Anson County and in communities across the state, North Carolina families are getting hammered by rising costs,” said Roy Cooper. “We need to make stuff cost less – at the grocery store, on your utility bill and at the gas pump. DC insider Michael Whatley spent his career lobbying for Big Oil and utility companies, including Duke Energy, profiting while families paid more. In the U.S. Senate, I’ll work with anyone I can to drive down costs for North Carolinians.”

On his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, Roy has released his plans to lower the cost of food and groceries, health care, utilities, child care and housing
