RALEIGH – Today, Roy Cooper continued his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, holding an event in Greenville to discuss how he will continue his work in the U.S. Senate to make life more affordable for North Carolina families.
“Everywhere they look, North Carolinians are seeing that stuff just costs too much – from the grocery store to utility bills to the gas pump,” said Roy Cooper. “For too many families here in Greenville and around the state, there is simply too much month left at the end of the money. Meanwhile, DC insider Michael Whatley spent his career lobbying for Big Oil and utility companies, including Duke Energy, profiting while families paid more. I’m ready to be an independent voice in the U.S. Senate and work with anyone I can to make stuff cost less for North Carolinians.”

On the Make Stuff Cost Less tour, Roy released his plans to lower the cost of food and groceries, health care, utilities, child care and housing.
