Roy Cooper for North Carolina

Roy Cooper Brings “Make Stuff Cost Less” Tour to Fayetteville

RALEIGH – Today, Roy Cooper continued his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, holding an event in Fayetteville to highlight how he will continue his work in the U.S. Senate to bring down skyrocketing costs and make life more affordable for working North Carolinians, including our military and veteran communities.

“We owe our veterans and service members, as well as their families, a deep debt of gratitude for their sacrifice and work to protect our nation’s freedoms at home and abroad,” said Roy Cooper. “We need to have their backs. That means ending reckless policies coming out of Washington DC – championed by my opponent Michael Whatley – that are sending the cost of living spiraling out of control. I’m running for the United States Senate to be an independent voice for all North Carolinians and I’m ready to work with anyone I can to make stuff cost less.”

At the event, Roy discussed his plans to make stuff cost less for North Carolina families, including how he’ll work to lower the cost of food and groceries, health care and utilities. Roy was joined by veteran and North Carolina State Senator Val Applewhite.

On the Make Stuff Cost Less tour, Roy released his plans to lower the cost of food and groceries, health care and utilities. In the coming weeks Roy will share his plans for making housing and child care more affordable.
