- Roy Cooper: “When we’ve been to the Stanley Cup Finals, we picked up a lot of new fans, and I think it’s really great to see, and to see the spectacle on TV of our crowd of people standing outside of the Lenovo Center, and to see all of the watch parties, it makes you feel like you’re a traditional hockey town, and that to me has been so much fun, and people talking about it, and really wanting to be a part of the excitement, it’s a big deal when your town is involved in a major championship like this […] to see all of Raleigh just come together like this has been a lot of fun.”
