Roy Gears Up for the Game with Fans at Tailgate, Joins Ovies & Giglio After Dark Podcast Live from the Lenovo Center for Post-Game Recap
RALEIGH – As the Carolina Hurricanes continue their playoff roll, Roy Cooper was at the game Saturday night, tailgating with a beer skate, cheering (a lot) and celebrating an exciting Canes win.
Before the game, Roy tailgated with fellow Caniacs, getting the energy up ahead of a critical home win.
After the 3-2 win, Roy joined the Ovies & Giglio After Dark Show:
- Joe Ovies: “Senior Canes OG Correspondent Roy Cooper is up here with us at Lenovo Center.”
- Roy Cooper: “[The Canes] just came out determined to play defensively, like they always do, and they, they definitely revved it up a notch. Look, tonight, I loved our fourth line. Our fourth line was all over it tonight.”
