RALEIGH — Last week, Roy Cooper continued his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, holding an event in Henderson to highlight how he will continue his work in the U.S. Senate to bring down skyrocketing costs and make life more affordable for working North Carolinians.

Ask Sue and Colonel Williams whether we have defeated inflation. You have to recognize the problem before you can solve it, right?”
- [Whatley] said in a podcast interview on Real America’s Voice that “there is no inflation” and that it has “fallen off a cliff” since President Donald Trump took office in early 2024.
