RALEIGH — Last Friday, Roy Cooper continued his “Make Stuff Cost Less” tour, holding an event in Asheville to highlight how he will continue his work in the U.S. Senate to bring down skyrocketing costs and make life more affordable for working North Carolinians.

As governor, he worked to expand [access] to affordable healthcare and strengthen our economy, all across North Carolina.”
  • [Christine Weinerth:] “Our grocery bill has gone up about $300 a month, our gas, $200 a month, and our utility bill, our Duke Energy bill, has doubled […] Roy understands that stuff costs too much, and he’s running for Senate to make life more affordable for the people of North Carolina.”
