Roy Cooper for North Carolina

Roy Cooper Casts Ballot on First Day of North Carolina Early Voting

RALEIGH – On the first day of early voting in North Carolina, Roy Cooper cast his ballot and discussed why he was running for U.S. Senate.

“I’ve lived and served in North Carolina my entire life, and I’m honored to be a candidate for the United States Senate,” said Roy Cooper. “This is a critical moment for our state and country. I’m ready to go to Washington to be an independent voice for North Carolina families, where I’ll work every day to support more good paying jobs, make health care more affordable, and lower costs for people who are trying to make ends meet.”

North Carolinians can vote early in the primary elections in-person from February 12 through February 28. People can also request an absentee ballot until February 17 or vote in-person on primary day, March 3.
